There is no L in Ted Dansen

"I learned something last night at work. Apparently there is no "I" in team! When did that happen? Why didn't I receive proper notification!? Will I be able to adapt to team with, without I?"

It's self-deprecation through self-advancement.

"But yeah. Basically, if you study long enough, you get to a point where all the disciplines blend together..... and then you're not compatible with school anymore, and nobody understands you :p"

Like sushi and french fries.

I WISH THAT I COULD CONVINCE MYSELF
THAT I HAD A SPLIT PERSONALITY
BUT WITH BOTH IDENTITIES SIMPLY BEING IDENTICAL TWINS

Happy Holidays!

"To be just without being mad (and the madder you get the madder you get), to be peaceful without being stupid, to be interested without being compulsive, to be happy without being hysterical. . . . smoke grass."

--Ken Kesey

If you're into that sort of thing, hit some Kallisti Gold for Eris. She'll approve.

Further inspiration from DA

"I want to be a teacher and a minister. God, I'm such a humanist. (pun intended)"

--Episkopos Valimagdon

Inspired by the sermon at District Assembly

"The only real difference between prayer and meditation is that with prayer you seek outward, and with meditation you seek inward"

"Meditate on God, pray to yourself"

A Responsive Reading: "Connections Are Made Slowly"

Connections are made slowly, sometimes they grow underground
You cannot tell always by looking at what is happening
More than half a tree is spread out in the soil under your feet.
Penetrate quietly as the earthworm that blows no trumpet.
Fight persistantly as the creeper that brings down the tree.
Spread like the squash plant that overruns the garden
Gnaw in the dark, and use the sun to make sugar.
Weave real connections, create real nodes, build real houses.
Live a life you can endure: make live that is loving.
Keep tangling and interweaving and taking more in, a thicket and bramble wilderness to the outside but to us it is interconnected with rabbit runs and burrows and lairs.
This is how we are going to live for a long time: not always.
For every gardener knows that after the digging, after the planting, after teh long season of tending and growth, the harvest comes.

Zuma!

Once you can accept that the universe is matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid is easy.

"what is contained in that parchment is beyond anything in your imagination"

"You don't know presicely, then, what is in those documents from Salonika."
"What does it matter? At the worst, theological debate. Doctrinal eqivocation. A man existed and his name was Jesus of Nazareth...or the Essenian Archangel of Light...and he spoke from the heart. His words have come down to us, historically authenticated by the Aramaics and Biblical scholars, Christian and non-Christian alike. What difference does it really make wheter he is called carpenter, or prophet, or the Son of God? What matters is that he spoke the truth as he saw it, as it was revealed to him. His sincerity, if you will, is the only issue, and on that there is no debate."
---Robert Ludlum, from The Gemini Contenders
